Today I saw a big fat groundhog in my mom's yard! I stepped outside to check the temperature and saw what I took to be a brown cat jogging across the lawn. I made come-here-cat noises at it, and it sat up, and I saw that in fact it was a chubby little groundhog! It was so fat it was waddling, though it ran quite fast. I pursued it to try and snap a picture, but he ducked into a groundhog burrow and got away.

Groundhogs are pretty damn cute.

One time in Glasgow I saw a wee hedgehog curled up on the step of a red stone church. he was also pretty cute.
